BT Extends Contract With Versalift

BT Fleet has extended Versalift's contract as supplier of van-mounted work platforms for a further two years.

Versalift has supplied all of BTs chassis- and van-mounted platforms since 1998, shipping over 1000 units to date, mainly the Ford Transit van-mounted PE5 with a 12.9m working height platform.

More recently, BT has taken PE6 units from Versalift with 14.2m working height on a 5.2 tonnes Iveco Daily van. This combination not only provides faster working height but has internal racking to carry tools and equipment to support BTs Pole Erection Units.

Earlier this year, BT ordered its first machines from the Litetel range of truck-mounted platforms. BTs fleet now features nine LT69NF 23m working height platforms on DAF 7.5 tonnes trucks with 4.3m wheelbase.

The new contract, meeting with BTs meticulously high standards, confirms Versalifts status as the UKs leading supplier of vehicle-mounted elevating platforms.
